Obituary of Gloria Jean Owings

Gloria Jean Owings was born 19 March 1957 in Gooding, Idaho. Her    parents were William R. Owings and Liska D. (Garner) Owings.

Her early years were spent on the Quarter Circle M Ranch at King Hill, Id. In 1969 the family moved to a mint farm southeast of Mt. Home, Id. She graduated from Mt. Home High School.

She married John MacKay in 1977 but the marriage ended in divorced. A son, Shane, was born to this union.

Gloria met Juan Guzman Escamilla and moved to California. There she remained to raise her family, two boys and a daughter.

Surviving Gloria are her children Shane MacKay, wife Dalia, children Lali, Tacy, and Timothy; Joe, wife Brenda, children Joshua and Lily; Lupe and wife Sara, son Angelo; Daughter Jennifer and Carlos Guzman, daughter Isabella. All living in California: Four brothers: Jim and wife Cathy of Boise ID, John and wife Betty of Las Cruces, NM, Robert and wife Linda of Wickenburg AZ; Sidney Bill and Wife Linda of Seven Bays, WA.

A memorial for Gloria will be held on Friday June 18, 11:00am, Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel in Meridian. Burial will be at 2:30 at Glenn Rest Cemetery in Glenns Ferry.
