Brydon Ransom

Obituary of Brydon Thomas Ransom

Brydon Thomas Ransom passed away June 12, 2021 at 17 years old from heart complications. He was born August 11, 2003 in Boise, Idaho to Jon Tyler Ransom and Gina Coy Fairchild (Worcester).

He lived in Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa and Middleton. During his Elementary years he attended Chief Joseph Elementary and Pioneer School of the Arts where he was involved in Orchestra and Band. For Middle School he attended Lowell Scott Middle School and Pathways Middle School. He attended Eagle High School for all 4 years where he was very involved in sports. He was in track, cross country, wrestling and football. During his Senior year he finished college credits and finished his EMT training course at Renaissance High School and was about to get certified.

He was quick to make friends, yet had a huge heart and loyalty to his friends that gave him lasting friendships through the years. The boys stayed very close from 7th grade til now and Ben, Jake, Ethan and Daniel had a set lunch spot every day at Shady Acres.

He enjoyed playing sports all through growing up and probably tried out every one of them. His favorite was football. He gave his heart and sweat at every practice and game. Every coach he ever had always commented about his heart that he gave during the season. You could often times find him working outside of practice to improve himself. Cross country, track and wrestling tested his determination and perseverance and strength. He would push himself so hard he vomited as crossing the finish line in a cross country meet. The teams he was a part of always gathered around him supporting and pushing him to be the best version of himself that he could be. His first year in wrestling he placed 4th in a large wrestling match even though he weighed a whole 89lbs with many layers of clothes on.

The great outdoors always called to Brydon as you could often find him fishing, camping, shooting and riding his dirt bike or taking his beloved blue truck mudding even if he was allergic to every plant and tree outside. His favorite outdoor adventure was fishing and he probably has every lure ever made. He and Ethan Bright fished often at the local ponds, if he wasn’t teaching and helping his little brothers how to fish.

He and his friends all loved to work on their trucks and cars, usually at Jacob Krebs with all hands on decks and many vehicles being worked on.

Brydon’s huge heart, selflessness, and compassion gave him many people to protect and check in on. He was an adversary to have on your side and you always knew he would be there for you when he was needed. His teachers latched onto his personality and wit and many became great mentors to him through the years. His bright blue eyes and large smile will be embedded into our memories forever.

Brydon loved Rap and Country music, Harry Potter, gaming, reading, weight lifting, sleeping in, driving fast, teasing everyone, The Patriots and his large family and friends whom he loved to travel with. He was a fighter ever since he was a young child when he was hospitalized for his heart and lungs and fought ever since whether it was his stubbornness or his perseverance.

He will be forever missed and never forgotten as we will smile and laugh at all the memories we have all created with him. We will see you again soon, so we can enjoy your bright smile and laugh.
