Obituary of Joseph Ernest Fletcher

On May 19, 1946 Pastor Joseph Ernest Fletcher was born to Odis and Selma Fletcher in Hillsboro, Texas.

Joseph was one of nine siblings. He completed elementary and secondary education in Texas. He later entered the U. S. Army and served over 20 years. Upon leaving the military Joseph entered the Ministry of the Lord. Later he became pastor of the Wayside Chapel Church God in Christ of LaGrande, Oregon.

Pastor Fletcher leaves to mourn his wife, Minnie Fletcher; beloved son, Robert (Grace) Fletcher of Boise, Id; daughter, Earnette (Larry) Ray of Richmond, VA; son, Roy (Tarah) Ray of Boise, ID; sister, Evelyn Hill of Los Angeles, CA;  Davema Fletcher, Los Angeles, CA; Paul Fletcher, Los Angeles, CA, David Fletcher of Dallas, TX and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loved one.

Pastor Fletcher is preceded in death by his mother and father and siblings, Lillie Williams, Thelma Washington, Selnelda Elliott, and Odis Fletcher.
