Obituary of Roma Talbott
On March 12, 2019 Roma Talbott Myers loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away at the age of 87.
Roma was born near Holyoke, Colorado on May 16, 1932 to Herbert and Esther Brandt.
Roma was married to Lyle W. Talbott on June 7, 1953. They raised two daughters, Jill and Kim. Roma married Jim Myers on January 2, 2000 after the death of her first husband.
Roma loved to quilt, attend church, socialize, exercise and have lunch with friends. She also enjoyed spending time with family.
The family is appreciative and thankful for all the family, friends, caregivers, and neighbors that showed her loving support and care during her fight with cancer.
Roma was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Esther Brandt, a sister Norma Jean Brandt, and her two husbands Lyle and Jim. She is survived by two sisters, Maxine Norberg and Marva Seymour, her daughters and step children from her marriage to Jim, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at Hillview United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, March 16th; an ice cream social will follow the service.
