Jeff was the most friendly, funny, sincere person in the world! It didn't matter who you were or what you did, Jeff would befriend you in a matter of moments! Jeff and I have been great friends for nearly 20 years and he was like the brother that I never had! I love him and will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with Christy, Mallory, Tatum and Sandra at this time. You are all strong Leslie Women and I wish you the peace and resolve in Jeff's passing that you all deserve. God be with you always.

Jeff’s sudden passing leaves a giant hole in the world. I am so sad for you all. I know his family was everything to him. We had long talks in the shop about just about everything! From Opie and Zues to bands and concerts. Jeff’s shenanigans when he was young were legendary! I am so happy and blessed to have been part of your Penny Lane family for so many years. And we are a family! I love you all!

Jeff was my college roommate at the University of London back in the late 80s. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet. We had more fun than anybody should have been allowed to that year. Jeff knew all the great bands to go see and all the fun pubs & clubs to visit. All in the pre internet days. One of the happiest moments for Jeff was when John Lydon (Johnny Rotten) snarled at him from the stage at the Astoria. It was awesome!

Still can’t believe it! Andy and I were explaining to our boys what a fun loving guy Jeff was and we know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and I’m sure heaven is enjoying him making the rounds with he’s quick grin and wit. Rest In Peace Jeff. God Speed.

Christy, Mallory, Tatum and Sandy...our entire family was greatly saddened to hear this news. Jeff was a great neighbor and we can all vouch for his ability to strike up a conversation with anybody.
We know he will be greatly missed by you all, and our thoughts are with you at this time.
Love, the Caragio's.

I think I met Jeff in 1999 or 2000. Our first born daughters are the same age and we were told they had become friends in the baby room at the YMCA daycare. I would frequently see Jeff there either dropping off or picking up. Two years later, Tatum was born about the same time as my son Nate. As a result of the four kids quickly became friends. My wife Chris and I soon became close with Jeff and Christy. We would trade off on play dates with the kids.
The four kids are all now out of high school and starting their respective lives and college educations and such. While the four kids have gone on to do separate things, our friendship with Jeff and Christy has continued to grow. I was so saddened to hear that my friend passed so quickly. I feel like I didn't appreciate him enough, because he's gone now. He was such a good friend. He would call and invite me out to lunch periodically and we would have long talks about whatever was going on in our lives. Jeff was such a good conversationalist. He was always concerned about my life and wanting to hear about the good and the bad. He was always there if I needed some support for something.
I recently renewed an interest in music. I nearly quit a couple of times because of frustrations with my ability. Each time I was frustrated, Jeff would spend time with me to help gain perspective and gave me very supportive advise. Jeff was special in so many ways. He was such a empathetic person. Being truly empathetic is a very rare characteristic in my experience. Jeff was always an active listener. He would try and understand the specific reasons of why I was feeling the way I was (whether good or bad). I am sure that this had a big impact on why I remained friends with him for 20 years. Jeff, I think of you every day. I miss you, and I will always remember our friendship. You had a big influence on my life, and I thank you for that.
