I remember all the wonderful times we as families went to the river for wiener and marshmallow roasts. Our Dads would fish and our moms would visit and play games with us and keep us from drowning in the river. I also remember all the picnics and family reunions we had at the park. Our moms would dress us all in red t-shirts so they could find us when we were running all over the park.Your mom always made me feel so loved an d special. I was sure I was her favorite niece. We as a family are so blessed to have had your mom in our lives.I love her so much and look forward to seeing her again someday in heaven.

My husband Jeff Rogers is Aunt Faye’s nephew, son of Laneve Rogers. She was Jeff’s favorite aunt. I fell in love with her the first time I met her. She was so sweet and loving. She babysat my oldest son Scott for awhile and he thought she was the greatest. I know she will be greatly missed, but what a reunion she must be having with all her loved ones on the other side.

We lived across the street from Jack & Faye. We became fast friends with both of them. She definitely was an angel. She liked us from the very beginning even though she couldn’t see us, she loved us. Jack was a gentleman and was always glad to have us come to visit. Both of them loved their Christmas peanut brittle that I would make. When they were both in the nursing facility, I made some peanut brittle for them and she stated that Jack had not been nice to her that day and so she was not going to share her peanut brittle with him. She was so funny. I just loved to be in her presence. We really do miss both of them as our neighbor.
