Denny Wilson

Obituary of Denny Wilson

Dennis (Denny) Albert Wilson was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 30, 1979. Denny was born on Memorial Day and spent his first several birthdays confused about why his birthday did not always fall on Memorial Day!

Denny passed away on September 29, 2019 of natural causes. Denny spent his elementary years in Ketchum, Boise, and Meridian. He graduated from Meridian High School in the spring of 1997. Denny played several sports throughout his high school years including baseball, football, track and basketball. Denny was an avid skier having been an instructor at Bogus Basin during his high school years.

Denny was an inquisitive child growing up. Combined with his ultra-high energy, managed to get himself into all manners of mischief, at the same time he was always delightful, caring, and loving with his infectious smile and limitless energy.

Denny attended Yavapai Community College in Arizona and graduated from Boise State in 2006 with a degree in Business. Denny worked for Wes Harris, a local business man from graduation until a few months ago.

Denny married Nicci Winslow on September 12, 2009. To them Carmella Rose Wilson was born on August 29, 2011. Family was important to Denny and he doted over Carmella, the apple of his eye.

Denny is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nicci, daughter, Carmella Rose, age 8, Parents, Cheryl and Mike Moore and Randy Wilson. Grandparents, Jeri Uriguen, Mack and Louise Moore and Betty Wilson. Mother-in-law Debbi Zaccardi. Aunts and Uncles, Abby and Jose Gabiola, Diana and Matt Link, Lisa and Jeff Moore, Amber Moore and Don Wilson.

He was especially close to his nieces, Maia, Rori, Juliana, Sidney, and Reese and nephew Zachary. In addition Nadia, Mikaele, Sammy, Kristian and Kenneth held a special place in his heart. He is also blessed with such a wonderful and large circle of friends that loved him very much.

Denny is now in heaven with his sister, Krissie and many family members that we are sure are embracing him as you read this. We love you Denny and will miss you forever.

There will be a family service in Boise. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to St. Joe’s Catholic School in Boise. This is the church they attended and the school Carmella attends as well.
