Obituary of Fern Hanneman

Fern Hanneman, age 90, of Boise Idaho, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 15th, 2020.  Fern was born in Pasadena, CA. on Mar. 12th, 1930 to Leonard and Lois Hawks one of eight children. She moved to Idaho in 1990.

Fern was a hardworking mother to four Children. She had several successful careers including at Sunkist Growers, U.S. Bank, and St. Alphonsus Hospital. In addition to her busy career, she found time to return to school and earned two business related degrees.

Fern had a passion for bowling for over 50 years. For several years she was a coach for youth bowlers. After retiring she was still an active member of two leagues, bowling three times a week just a few months ago. She was a member of a local Bible Study where she enjoyed the fellowship of many friends.

Fern is survived by three children, Mike (Linda) Gosswiller, Mark (Andrea) Gosswiller, and Dave (Sarah) Hanneman; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and cherished friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her Daughter, Sue Roberts.
