Obituary of Dorothy Quale

Dorothy Clara Quale was born on April 5, 1926 at Bluffton, Minnesota, the third of 10 children, to Joseph Ament and Katherine Schmiesing. Dorothy passed on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 94 years of age.

Dorothy married Donald S. Quale in April of 1946 and moved to Idaho in the late 40’s and to Boise in the 50’s. She became an avid golfer and golfed up into her 80’s. She was active at Church of the Sacred Heart until her hospitalization in April of 2020.

Dorothy’s husband of over 50 years passed in 1999. She is also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Herbert, Joseph and Richard Ament; sister, Margaret Frey. She is survived by her brothers, Walter (Dorothy) Ament of Duluth, MN, Bernard Ament of Boise, ID, James Ament of Caldwell, ID; sisters, Adella (Don) Knievel of Butte, MT and Mary (Tom) Otto of Weiser, ID; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
