To Steve and all of Vicki’s family,
We are so sad to hear of Vicki’s sudden passing. She was a sweet, kind person and we always appreciated her patience and expertise when she was helping us buy and sell our houses. Though we took advantage of her professional time and abilities, we also considered her a friend. She helped make our lives better. She will be much missed and fondly remembered. Tina & Carl Balsley

Steve, Ben, Greg, Ted and Wes.... This is Sandy Coleman, Josh Dornhecker's mom. I am so saddened and sorry to hear of Vickie's passing. Vickie and the rest of you were literally a God send to Josh (and to me) during his high school years when his life at home wasn't the greatest, he could go to your loving, warm home. Being an only child, he loved spending time with all of you. I will always be so appreciative that you took Josh in and made him feel like family. His memories of you are precious and especially of Vickie who he says was like a 2nd mom to him. Josh's memories of the years working as a janitor at the church in Salem are brought up often and Josh has told his own children stories of climbing the spire. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy for the Tollefson family at the loss of such a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.

We are so so sorry for your loss. We are heartbroken.
I remember the time we went on a mission trip to Peru with Steve and Vicki and about 20 other folks. We made a side day trip into Bolivia. No problem getting into Bolivia but when we tried to go back to Peru the border guards stopped us. They said because we didn’t stay long enough we would have to pay a “fine”. It was rather steep but after a long discussion everyone finally agreed on $50. But we had to pay in crisp new bills, no creases. We paid. Before we drove away Vicki, who handled all the money for the group, wanted to get a receipt from the guards. I think we finally convinced her that they might not look too favorably on giving us a receipt for a bribe. We all laughed about it later. She was a dear, sweet lady and we’ll miss her terribly.

My heart just aches for the loss of this tender, loving, fun spirit. Vicki has been in my life since I was 4, she always paid attention and listened and loved. Oh how she loved her boys and their friends and families. I am so glad to have been included in Tollefson love for 42 years. Xoxo Kadie Randel
