Louis Byron Howard Jr., 52, of Boise, Idaho passed away Saturday March 27, 2021, at his home after  a long battle with cancer.  Louis was born on October 6, 1968 in Reno Nevada to Louis Byron Howard Sr. and Frances Kamilla Howard.  He was married to the love of his life Kelly Howard on April 10, 1992.  They raised their three children together in Boise.  Louis spent 30 years as a real estate appraiser.  He never stopped learning, and he loved spending time with family and friends and was often seen tinkering on one project or another.  He is known for his many acts of selfless service in his church and in the community, as well as his great sense of humor.  He is survived by his wife Kelly, children Garrett, Mallory and Hailee, his brothers Leonard (of Issaquah, WA) and Lawrence (of Logan, UT) and their families.  He is preceded in death by his parents Louis B. Howard Sr. and Frances K. Howard.  A viewing will be held at the Summers Funeral Home 3629 E. Ustick Rd. Meridian, Idaho on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday April 3, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 11443 McMillian Rd, Boise, ID.
