Well honey, its been alnost 2 months since you passed. İ feel like it was yesterday. İ'm sitting here in tears, like İ've been everyday since that night. İ know you dont want me to cry but İ miss you so much. You have always been there for me and i know you're looking after me, İ wish İ could have one more hug, one more kiss or one more smile . this is the worst hurt in the world, the pain of losing you is more than İ can bare somedays. İ love you honey, Tymi Jo

I came to know Dave through my connection with many musicians in the Boise area. Dave and I had several fun discussions online after I asked him if he wanted to share his music on our podcast. We ended up playing several of Dave's songs, and I'm so happy we did. That man's voice blew me away. His was the owner of a classic rock 'n' roll voice, and he sang so effortlessly and with such joy.
Although we never met in person, I will always feel a special connection to Dave after the meaningful exchanges we shared. I know you guys are making some amazing music up there. You will be missed, my friend.

I was sure sorry to hear of Daves' passing. I first met Dave when his family moved to Olympus Heights and we went to Central Jr High. Dave and I were in chorus and always tried to out do each other. We used to play music in my parents basement with Jay Brown, Dickie Martinez, Del Darby and Doug Coleman. We played as a band at school dances and where ever we could. It was a lot of fun and Dave was a good friend. Dave and I was abducted when we were teens, We managed to escape and shared a bond over that experience. Ten or so years ago I decided to try and locate Dave so I called several music stores in Boise and found him. We talked again several times after that. Dave was a talented guy, I'm sure he will be missed by many.

I'm heartbroken at the news of Dave's passing. My name is Bill Baum, and Dave always called me "Sasquatch", which I loved. I had the pleasure of playing in the Solution Brothers with Dave, John Hyneman, Russ Martin and Trent Maughan back in 2002-03. I always tell everyone I talk music with that I was in a band with guys that were 5-8 years older, and 5 to 8 years better than me as musicians. They all taught me so much, but Dave really impacted me. He would finish a song, I'd hand him my bass, go off stage and he, John and Russ would proceed to knock out a Robin Trower song where he didn't miss a beat switching from guitar to bass. I had heard of Russ's passing a few months ago, and that hurt, too. Two of my favorite musicians gone in a span of months. I will be traveling to Boise for the Celebration of Life May 16th, and I just want everyone who reads this to know what kind of impact that man had on me. I will never forget Dave Robinette. God bless you Dave. I miss you and know there are many like me hurting at the loss of such a great man.

Words cannot convey the impact that Dave has had in my life. A mentor, a brother who’s eccentric wisdom was always on point and heart felt. Dave is a true legend and the last of his kind. I love this man and will miss him...... Rest In Peace
