Obituary of Patricia Heim Carr

Patricia Heim Carr of Boise, Idaho, passed away August 15, just shy of her 90th birthday. Patty was born in New Jersey and spent most of her life in the Los Angeles area. Patty was a graduate of Beverly Hills High School and UCLA (Kappa Alpha Theta), where she studied painting and art history.  She loved traveling, enjoyed meeting people and delighted in exploring new places.

She raised four children: Wendy (Evan) Ellis, David, Nancy (Jerry) Concha, and John. She loved her grandchildren: Brian,Libby and Garrett Ellis; John and Matthew Carr; Gustavo Concha; and Hayden Carr. She lived to see three great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Brooke and Samantha Ellis. After raising her family, Patty began a career with Bullock’s/Macy’s. She sold men’s suits for many years, retiring from the Sherman Oaks Macy’s at age 77. Upon retirement, Patty moved to Boise where she enjoyed her house and garden by the river and time with her son John.
