Obituary of Charles Dan Critell
Charles Dan Critell, long time resident of Eagle passed away peacefully at home from cancer with his wife Bonnie Critell and son Chad Critell by his side. Born in Wendell, Idaho in 1944, he was a true Idaho native. He enjoyed spending time camping with family & friends at their property in Stanley. He loved motorcycle riding, which took him all over the United States & to Germany as well. He worked for Boeing in Everett, Washington, installing the cockpit dash in the first 747’s. His military career of 32 years with the Air Force & Idaho Air National Guard took him around the world, maintaining aircraft for the military. A true mechanic who could fix & build whatever he put his mind to.
He was an active member of the Eagle United Methodist Church, Patriot Guard, POW/MIA, and UMCI.
He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, sister Kathy Raney (Tom), brother Skip Critell (Brenda), dedicated son Chad Critell (Wendy), grandkids Logan, Kyle, Sarah, and numerous step kids, grandkids, & great grand kids. He was preceded in death by his first wife Pat Critell, and parents Carol & Will Critell.
Funeral service will be held at Eagle United Methodist Church 651 N Eagle Rd, Eagle, ID 83616. On Friday November 5, 2021 at 11:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery 9600 Hill Rd, Boise, ID 83714.
