Obituary of Lawanda Lou (Lue) Briscoe

Lawanda Lou (Lue) Briscoe, 60, of Kuna, Idaho entered her eternal reward in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ around Oct. 14, 2021.  She was a beautiful woman of God, amazingly cheerful, dedicated, and hard-working. She chose well as she loved God, was daily reading His Word, lived life as a strong prayer warrior and cared for, taught and encouraged her beloved daughter, Jasmin, who also entered into the arms of Jesus on October 14, 2021. (See separate obituary.)  Lawanda was widowed in 1998 when her beloved husband, Herbert passed into eternity and the arms of Jesus. She spent her life caring for others, loving people as she loved God. Her joy of the Lord and strong faith in Him was clearly evident despite many difficulties.

Lawanda had many funny stories to share and many testimonies of God’s love, provision and miracle-working power.  She was loyal and devoted to her family and greatly enjoyed fishing, knitting and crocheting.  She is greatly missed, and warm memories of her will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
