My deepest condolences. As a fellow Patriot Guard rider I will sorely miss the pre ride prayers he offered before every mission. RIP Padre`. You’re riding with wings now.

Oh, how we will miss him the jokes that he told and even laugh when he turns the hose on me by accident per him but with a big smile as he said I am sorry. I am remined when he was in Iraq I ask what he would like from the states. for Christmas and all he wanted was coffee so my daughter got a case of free coffee to send to him which he shares with everyone.
Tom and I will hold your family up in prayer as you adjust to a different chapter in your lives.
Jason and Sarah, you had a father that I Offen wish my father had been. You were so Lucky to have a father who was a man of God.
May our God of Love hold you close at this time.

Joanne, Sarah, & Jason,
Our hearts break for you with the passing of Grandpa/Pastor Dave. It's one of those bittersweet things as we know he is in Heaven now. We'll miss him deeply and pray that the many years of memories and love will sustain you through the grief and years apart until you are reunited again. Faith, family and fun were the three words I'd use to describe Dave. His faith in God was evident in his everyday life and was shared freely. He always shared freely his love for Joanne, Jason (Twi) and Sarah any time we talked. He was always having fun, whether holding those little ones, motorcycling or being involved in sports. Bruce and I will always remember the time we had dinner with Dave at Mongolian BBQ. We warned Dave about the jalapenos being spicy but he piled them on. Later while eating, he was wiping his brow and chuckling about the onions. Pastor Dave was also one of the pastors in Victoria's baby dedication so many years ago. He always knew when a mom's arms were tired and would hold the baby, hushing many a fussy baby with his magical hugs quieting the baby right down.
Joanne, we are lifting you up in prayer. Thank you for sharing your husband with all of us. I know you will miss him being here physically. You will see him again. Sarah and Jason, Your dad was an incredible man. You are very lucky to have such an amazing man for a father (or Twi, as a father-in-law). Whenever he was around, he always treated me as an extra kid, even as an adult. He will most definitely be missed deeply around the community and in our hearts.
With love and prayers,
Lindy, Bruce, and Joey Bishop
