Obituary of Paul Richard Fusselman
On this day February 21st, 2023 or loving father, grandfather and great grandfather Paul Richard Fusselman went to be with his loving wife Irene and son Paul Ray in heaven.
Paul was born in Nebraska on December 9th, 1933, to Florence and Edward Fusselman. Paul’s Family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he later met the love of his life Irene. Paul joined the US Army and served in the Korean war from 1952-1953. He then returned home to marry Irene in 1956, shortly after they welcomed their 1st son Paul Ray Fusselman. They moved their small family to Boise, Idaho were Paul worked for Boise-Winnemucca Stages Bus Co. Paul loved driving and meeting new friends along the way. In 1962 they welcomed their only daughter Carolee Ann Fusselman and in 1965 they welcomed their 2nd son Ricky Linn Fusselman.
Paul was an active member of the American Legion and served on the Executive Committee and was a Steward for The Grange 244 Boise, ID. Paul loved to volunteer and it brought him great joy to be apart of his veteran community. Paul had so many wonderful memories in his life and surrounded himself with his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He has touched so many lives along the way and he will live forever in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
He was preceded in death by his wife Irene and son Paul Ray, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
He is survived by his daughter Carolee Fusselman and son Rick Fusselman, Adopted family son Al Wartz, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
His celebration of life will be held on March 11th, 2023, at the LDS church located at 190 S. Locust Grove Rd. Meridian, ID 83642 from 2:00pm-4:00pm
His Military honors will be held on March 17th at 2:00pm located at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road Boise, ID 83714
