Obituary of Amanda Leigh Kimey

Amanda Leigh Kimey died on March 20, 2023 in Boise.
She was born July 16, 1993 in Twin Falls, Idaho and came home with her adoptive parents, Kevin and Joanne Kimey, the following day. She was loved and adored from the moment she was placed in their arms.
Amanda attended Spalding Elementary, Lewis and Clark Middle School and Mountain View High School. She received her GED in 2015. At the time of her death she was employed as a Beauty Advisor at Ulta.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Kevin and Joanne Kimey, her son Grayson Kimey, her sister and brother in law, Alyssa and Tyler Larsen, nieces Emma and Ava Larsen, and nephew Cooper Larsen, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earl and Eloise Garretson, her paternal grandparents Chris and Lois Kimey, and beloved uncles Dave Garretson and Rick Patterson.

Amanda loved drawing, music, playing her guitar, crocheting and everything having to do with make-up. She was looking forward to building her relationship with Grayson, and being part of our family again after so much time apart. Amanda accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 3 and she is now at peace in His loving arms for eternity. We rejoice in knowing we will see her again.

Arrangements are under the direction of Summers Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Summit Church. Viewing will be at 9:00 a.m.with funeral to follow at 10:00. Burial will be at Cloverdale Cemetery.
