Obituary of Mark Lallatin

Mark Merthyn Lallatin, born 4 October, 1938, to Mark and Helen Lallatin, in Castledale, Utah, passed away from natural causes on 19 March, 2023.  

Raised in a drugstore, he was trained and eventually educated as a pharmacist.  He worked in hospital pharmacies and drug stores across Southern Idaho for about fifty years.

Mark was spiritual,  but not very religious.  He believed in a higher power, but was not sure anyone could tell him what that being wanted.

He had a great love of family, though he wasn't too finicky about actual blood ties. Friends were as close as family in his view.  

He had a passion for skiing, a love of travel, a fondnes for golf, and endless curiosity.

Mark attended University of Idaho, graduated from Idaho State University, and served in the Army National Guard (anecdotes of which ensured his son served in the Navy).

He leaves behind a son, Brian, a daughter, Shauna, three grandsons, and one great grand-daughter, along with just about everyone who knew him.
