Obituary of Claire Welgan

Claire Welgan passed away May 29, 2023 at age 38. Claire was born June 22,1984 in Paradise, California and grew up in Suisun City. In her youth, Claire was a great lover of animals and in particular had a passion for horses. She regularly competed in horse shows with great success. She graduated from Armijo High School in 2002.

She enjoyed fashion, creating mixed-media art, developing her own website and spending time with family and friends. Claire later moved to Eagle, Idaho in 2013. During this time she became an Aunt, and loved caring for and spending time with her two nephews who endearingly referred to her as their Auntie LaLa. Claire also enjoyed traveling, often visiting friends and family in California, with New York City being a favorite destination.

She is survived by her Mother, her Brother and his family as well as many extended family and friends.

A private service will be held for Claire at Dry Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the American Heart Association.
