Obituary of Robert Henry Maylum

Robert “Bob/Bo” Henry Maylum passed away on August 25, 2023. Born on August 13, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Walter George Maylum and Marie Catherine Naas Maylum. Bob was a passionate teacher and coach for more than three decades, primarily as a science teacher in Placentia, California. He retired with his wife Lorraine in 1999 to Grass Valley, California where they lived until her passing in 2014. He then moved to Boise in 2015.

He is survived by his three sons: Henry [Kathy] Augenstein of Anaheim, California, David [Melissa] Maylum of Springfield, Virgina, Jim [Paula] Augenstein of Carson City, Nevada, and his two brothers: David Maylum and Phillip Maylum. He has eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings: George Maylum, Betty (nee Maylum) Higgins Oemke, Shirley (nee Maylum) Scott, and Leroy Maylum.
