Robin's Funeral Service

Robin Linden loved life and enjoyed every day. She was a strong and determined fighter from the day she was born, eventually leaving this world only after a hard fought battle with heart and lung disease. Even when times were tough, Robin was always optimistic and never lost her sense of humor. She viewed each new day as another opportunity to live, to laugh, to love, and to enjoy the gift of life. Robin was a loving and kind friend, sister, daughter, aunt, mother, Mim and a best friend to anyone that needed her.

Robin was born on 12/9/1966 in Burbank California, the youngest of three daughters, to Joan and Harvey Linden. From an early age, Robin was eager to make friends and have fun. As a child, she developed a talent for cooking, a tradition that continued throughout her life as she loved entertaining her wide circle of friends with home cooked meals and special desserts. Robin graduated from Mojave High School in Kingman, Arizona. She also loved heading out on for a ride on the Harley, or camping and fishing  with friends. She always loved new and exciting adventures, most of all, Robin loved being a mother.

She is survived by her sons, Kalen Chavez (Cristal Shimmer), Michael Campbell, and Jacob Campbell, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Wes Ryder Chavez and Camilla Faith Chavez. Robin is also survived by her sister, Lisa Linden, her brother Rick Carbone Senior (Bev Kimball), as well as her nephews Rick Carbone Jr., Colt Chilcoat and his wife Melissa Tahbo Chilcoat, and Trevor Van Metre. Her great nieces, Rilyn, Layla, and Nayvi Van Meter, great nephew Soyer Chilcoat. Her longtime best friend, caregiver, and fishing partner, Deke Segovia, who was by her side on her last journey. Her Uncles Irwin Linden (Colleen) and David Linden (Nancy), Cousins. Mark, Jason and Zach Linden, Stacey Meehan, Alison Meehan Urban and Darren Delong. Her second extend Dad and Mom Barbara and John Shannon who took over the role of Dad and Mom and caring for Robin as their own after the loss of her father. Their love and dedication was unwavering.

Robin had a very large circle of friends and extend family. She was deeply loved and will be very much missed by all. During the last week of her life, her friends gathered from far and near to say their last good-byes – actually, “see you later’s” – to Robin and thank her for all she meant to them in their lives. Robin’s generous and loving spirit helped many friends and even strangers in need throughout her life and she never turned away anyone who needed a helping hand.

Robin is the perfect example of the Biblical advice to “Be kind to strangers, for many have entertained angels unawares.” Although Robin didn’t observe any particular type of organized religion, she was a very spiritual person with a strong core of faith and an endless supply of love for people, animals, and the Earth itself.

She is preceded in death by her sister Beth Linden, her mother Joan McMahon Linden, her father Harvey Linden, and her Niece Davia Chilcoat, as well as by Mike Campbell and Kayleen Campbell Miller.

R.I.P., Robin, and know that we will remember you and think of you until we meet again.

May your memory be a blessing and may your light shine bright always.
