Bonnie Hulse

Obituary of Bonnie Hulse

Bonnie Hulse passed peacefully in the early morning hours on December 28th, 2023.

Bonnie was born on May 28th, 1939, in Lamar Indiana to her parents Clyde and Dolly Sisley.  She had two siblings Carl Sisley and Donna Barber.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Carl and her husband Larry Hulse.  In 1959 she married the love of her life. Her and Larry were married for 64 years before his passing in early 2023. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan, Anita and Kim. She is also survived by her grandkids Jett, Tera, Travis and Katie and great grandkids Emily, Charlie, Addy, Lacey, and Sage.

Bonnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She and Larry moved many many times over the years for Larry’s job.  With each move, she set up a new and wonderful home for her family. In 1999, she and Larry finally settled in Kuna to be close to family. Family was the most important part of her life.  She lived for the special acts of love she could share with each member of her family.  Especially the grandkids.  Bonnie had a great love for dogs and always had at least one by her side.

Bonnie had many amazing talents.  She was an incredible cook; her daughters could only hope to be half as good. She loved gardening and would always have a beautiful flower garden. Her most amazing talent was her abilities as a seamstress.  She sewed many beautiful clothes for her daughters as they were growing up; she even sewed her youngest daughter’s wedding dress.  Over the years she began to sew tiny intricate barbie doll clothes for her daughters and granddaughters and overtime began upholstering furniture.  In the later years she began making the most beautiful and elaborate quilts for all the grandkids and great grandkids.  Each quilt was made special for each child’s interest.  But most of all they were made with lots of love.

Bonnie has passed on to be with her husband and many furry friends.  She has touched the hearts of all who knew her and experienced her beautiful smile.  She was the kindest, most loving person and will be greatly missed.
