Obituary of Talia Noelle Closson-Salzano

Our beloved Talia Noelle Closson-Salzano passed away on February 12th, 2024. Her ever present courage and powerful personality will leave a gaping hole in the lives of so many.

Talia was born in Boise Idaho, in December 1982, to her mother Beth. Talia grew up being raised, until she was twelve, by her grandmother Mary Amoureux, before going back to her mother Beth's. She was raised alongside her cousins Eric Lee, Jessica, and Benjamin Teeters and told stories of how her family and the other neighborhood kids would get into wild adventures. After going to live with her mother she became a part of a single child family but was proud of her journey to adulthood, recounting her youth with laughter and pride.

She would go on to have her first child Taylor Closson fairly young at fourteen and then take a long break before having her second Alyvia Salzano thirteen years later. Talia loved her children, decorating both her work with pictures of their accomplishments, as well as getting tattoos of their birth month flowers on her shoulders.

She was also dedicated to her life's work of being a cosmetologist, which she did for seventeen years with fifteen of those years being the manager of a Perfect Look location on Federal Way in Boise. She was known for having a strong personality whether that was joking around or fighting for something she believed in; it was her way or the highway.

She helped lead her daughter's girl scout troop and merged her love of arts and crafts with her participation in the troop. She made wreaths for the holidays and many other craft projects to sell, being especially proud of these side hobbies that allowed her to pay to have her house painted.

She loved animals of every kind, with strong connections to her many cats, dogs, and lizards over the years. To many, her stories of rescuing another cat would seem strange, but to her it was adding another member of the family every time.

She was loved by so many for her constant friendship and commitment to doing the most she could for others. Her door was always open to others even if she herself needed the help, and that is what she will be remembered for. She leaves behind her son Taylor, her daughter Alyvia, her husband Andrew and her mother Beth, her grandmother Mary and step grandfather Bob, and every other family member she touched with her life taken too soon.

The funeral will be taking place at Summers Funeral Home on Ustick Rd. at 2pm Monday, February 26th 2024.
