Scott Lewis

Obituary of Scott Michael Lewis

Scott "Bagel" Michael Lewis, aged 40, completed his life's journey in Boise, Idaho, on February 25, 2024.  This Idaho native, born on March 2, 1983, in Idaho Falls, sprinkled his life with humor, love, and a dash of sarcasm that endeared him to all.

Bagel, a nickname he wore with pride as the 'everything' to his family, was a beloved father to his three daughters, Olivia, Emily, and Brooklyn whom he shared with his best friend and ex-wife Ashley.  His love for them was as boundless as his love for a good joke.  He was the ultimate 'dad' jokester, whose laughter was as infectious as his caring nature.

Professionally, Bagel was the cream cheese of the crop, bringing joy and dedication to his roles at Albertsons and Fred Meyer.  His favorite gig, however, was at Enphase Energy, where he was more than just a cog in the machine - he was part of a family.

His faith was as important to him as his love for golfing.  His hobbies were a hole-in-one, from fishing to camping, and from movies to music.  He even shared his love of Disneyland with his girls, ensuring the magic was always passed on.

A Celebration of Life, without a 'spread' of sadness but a 'bagel' full of memories, will be held for him.  Details will be toasted across Facebook at a later date.

He's survived by his daughters, mother Cathy, stepfather Doug, sister Shea, brother-in-law Tony, nephews Isaac and Taylor, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father Mike and his grandparents, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

Bagel's memory will forever be a part of life's 'schmear' for everyone who knew him.  Here's to Scott "Bagel" Lewis, a man who never 'loxed' himself into being anything other than extraordinary.

A celebration of life for Scott Lewis will be announced at a later date.
