She married Charles Codol on April 22, 1950 and moved to Tiltonsville, OH.  They had five children together.  In 1961, Dolly and Chuck moved to Anaheim, CA to continue raising their children.

Dolly loved spending holidays with her family.  She also loved the beach, cooking, picnicking, sewing, gardening, singing, and telling a good joke.

In 2007, Dolly and Chuck moved back to Anaheim, CA to live with her son and his wife, Brian and Shari Codol.  After Chuck passed in 2008, Dolly later moved to Meridian, ID with Brian and Shari in 2015.  She was able to live in her own home until she passed.
