Obituary of Russell Tuttle

Russell K. Tuttle, 68, of Meridian, ID passed away August 16, 2013 peacefully at his home. Russ was born October 24, 1944 in Boise, Idaho to Edgar and Bonnie Tuttle. He attended Borah High School and started his long career as a groceryman at the age of 16. Russ married Arlita Logan in 1962 and together they had three children: Angie (Karl) Thompson; Edgar (Sarah) Tuttle; and Shane (Kristine) Tuttle. He later married Ronda Mowry in 1978, and together they raised her son, Steve Oliver. In 1998 he united with his soulmate, Evie McCoy, and together they fished, played poker, and made even more friends. Russ was loved and respected and became an integral part of her family. Russ was a true outdoorsman with a competitive spirit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. The joy of his life was family; spending time with grandkids, teaching them the value and joy of family time and sportsmanship. Russ is survived by his family; Evie and family; and numerous friends. Friends are all invited to join the family to honor Russ on Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm, at the Eagle's Lodge on Overland Rd in Boise.
