It was a great pleasure to know Ruby. She was always full of life. She was my 2nd Mom. She was honest & direct in her speech. I miss having conversations with her. Listening to her adventures was my favourite of all. We miss you Rubydo. Rest in peace.

My mother Evelyn Welke was a dear friend to Ruby. Mom and Dad knew Ruby and Harry for years. After Harry died, the friendship with Ruby continued to the end of mom's life. I will always remember Ruby's wonderful smile and generous outgoing personality. She was a great favorite among mom's many friends. We will miss her presence in the world. Sue & Larry Rourke

I was saddened to hear of your loss of Mother, Ruby. I only recently heard of her passing via of a letter to the editor in the Nampa Press Tribune paper.
Please accept my sympathy to your family.
I was once a live-in member of your family in 1964 when entering BJC. I had met Raymond "Rock" the previous summer in Pierce, Idaho, working for the U.S. Forrest Service. I have many memories of life on Holiday Drive sharing a room with Ray, playing music, going to school. One morning when Ray was late arriving home from a date I had to cover for his absence to Mon and Dad Stone. I was only privy to the real story by a phone call from Ray at the Hill-Top. I always enjoyed the war stories that Harry would relate to us boys. Ruby was a true hard working woman and mother for the family. She was very honest and straight forward with her thoughts and never beat around the bush.
I hope for the best things for you, Ray and Diane, and would like to hear from you when you have a moment to respond. It has been years and a lot of life has passed since we saw each other.
Again, my sympathy to you.
Robert Miller, Melba, Idaho.

Ray and Dianne, I was very saddened to hear of your mother's passing. My aunt in Boise alerted me and sent a copy of her obituary. It will be placed in my bible.
Love and blessings, Ann
