Obituary of Lorri Johnston

Lorri D. Johnston 1956 ~ 2013 Lorri Johnston, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, lost her courageous battle with cancer on March 15, 2013 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Lorri was born August 6, 1956, in Riverside, California to Paul and Dorothy Kreiter, (deceased). In 1973 her parents returned to Idaho where she finished school, spent a very brief time in the US Army, and returned to California where she married her childhood sweetheart, Ken Johnston of Bloomington in July of 1975. They relocated back to Idaho in 1989. For over 20 years Lorri, with the help of her family, cared for a special need client in their home, which speaks volumes to the kind hearted and caring person that she was. She had a huge capacity for love. Lorri is survived by her loving husband, Kenny; three children and eight grandchildren; as well as two sisters, three brothers, and father, Paul Kreiter. She is also survived by a large extended family and many dear friends. A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Summers Funeral Home, 1205 W Bannock St, Boise. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Summers Funeral Home, Boise. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society .
