Ken was an inspiration to me. I knew him for close to two years, and in that time he left quite an impression on me. He was such an honest, good-hearted man, and I'll cherish the conversations that we had together. He opened my eyes to the experiences of his generation and the realities of them. I'll do my best to pass on the bits of wisdom that I gleaned from Ken, to others.
To have known this great man for a lifetime must have been a blessing. I offer my sincere condolences to all of his friends, family, and loved ones, and the knowledge that he lives on in the heart of this man and many, many others at ACG.

As many others have written here, I knew Ken through ACG and one thing that always stands out with Ken was his sense of humor on most topics. I learned alot from him and others about Vietnam and how it affects all of us today. RIP Ken and Godspeed sir..

Ken was very much a grandfatherly figure to me. Not being blessed with grandparents of my own, it was very comforting to have Ken's gentle words of friendship and kindness to help fill the void. I was blessed to have Ken call me friend. He was truly a great and gracious man. The archetype of the American hero. There is no more noble a thing but to sacrifice of oneself for the benefit of others. Ken gave, and has touched the lives of others in significant ways because he gave of himself. I grieve for his family for their loss, and I feel their loss personally. I am proud to have known him. A Man, A Hero, and a Friend to the Vietnamese people. We love and miss you Ken. - Pham Thi Huyen

I shall forever remember the Captain although having never met him in person. He was a great mentor to me on the Vietnam war through ACG. He was the first veteran to welcome me and helped me to understand more than I have yet to realize. Ken's passing has left a huge hole in my heart for a man who was the epitome of a natural born leader. He was larger than life to me and I will miss him eternal. I extend my sincere condolences to Ken's family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Ken's death. Being a few hundred miles away in Montana, I hoped we might have a chance to meet someday. I enjoyed sparring with him sometimes, agreeing with him sometimes on the Vietnam forum of Arm Chair General. As an Army veteran of Vietnam, I especially appreciate his service and physical sacrifice on behalf of our country.

I've never had the pleasure to meet Ken in person, but I have known him through the years at the ArmChair General forums. It was a great sorrow to learn of his passing. He will be extremely missed by all of us there. It is my belief that as long as there is at least one of us who remembers Ken that he will not be truly gone. In this time of sorrow try and remember all the good times and not the sad. May God bless each and every one of you.

So much lost for words, what can I say about such a fine man & true hero to a great many that have come to know him. There are so many others that can speak to his heroism & sacrifice, not only for his country, but for his own fellow warriors in a far off land as they endeavoured simply to survive. I think it proper for me to simply say that Ken Jensen is one of the finest & genuinely humble gentlemen I have ever had the honor to meet, even at great distance & never face to face. But his caring & concern for others has so often caused my own reflection upon what is truly most important in life... that being that within each of us dwells the capacity & the opportunity to be a much better person than we are or have ever been... if we only seek to make it so with honorable intents.
Fair Winds & Following Seas Home, Ken Jensen... May God Bless All He Loved & They That So Love Him

Captain Jensen was a good friend of mine. He taught me many things. I've heard only the good die young. To me he was young at heart, with a heart of a lion.
What I wrote for him.
The flag is at half-staff. The bugle is blowing taps.
Today we salute a great man. Capt. Ken Jensen.
Hear the 21 gun salute. We all stand and salute.
Goodbye my friend.
Salute.

Ken was a great patriot and hero who shared a wealth of information to others who had an interest in Vietnam. My sincere sympathy to Ken's family. I hope we all meet Ken again in eternal life.
