Obituary of David Long-Easton

David N. Long-Easton was born March 23, 1924 in South Bend, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and his spouse, Lucille Easton, who died May 19, 2012. David died of natural causes June 11, 2012 at BeeHive Assisted Care for Veterans, Meridian, ID. He is survived by 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a large extended family of step-children and grandchildren. David enlisted in the Army in Chicago, IL and served in the 900 Airborne Engineers Nov. 3, 1942 - Dec. 1945, Corporal Radio Maintenance, Asiatic Pacific Campaign, Central Burma, India. David received his BS degree in Political Science from USC. During his life, he worked in Asia and Africa for MK, as a city administrator in ID, and retired from Idaho Power as an archivist. Graveside services will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the residence following the service. Arrangements are by Summers Funeral Home, Boise Chapel.
