Obituary of Bud Betebenner

Harry Edward (Bud) Betebenner, Jr. passed away on November 21, 2011 in Boise Idaho. Bud was born on October 29, 1923 in Fruitland, Idaho. Bud graduated from Boise High School in 1941 and from Boise Junior College in 1947. He attended the University of Oregon and graduated in 1948. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force in 1943 and was discharged in 1945. He trained as a bombardier and was a Second Lieutenant in the 426th AAF. He worked in pharmaceutical and surgical sales until his retirement. He married Jean Noh on October 25, 1969 in Elko, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Edward (H.E.) Betebenner and Pauline (Jess) Henggeler Betebenner. He is survived by his siblings Marie Candaux (Harry), Catherine Conn, Margaret Bryant and George Betebenner (Sharleen); by brother-in-law, Laird Noh (Kathleen); and by four children from a previous marriage Christine Roberts (Bill), Deborah Mohrman (Mike), Stacie Bofenkamp (Dan) and Brad Betebenner (Lisa). He had four grandchildren Ann Roberts Adams, Katy Mohrman, Jesse and Molly Betebenner and numerous nieces and nephews. He and Sweetie Pie (Jean) lived in Boise, Idaho until his death. They enjoyed traveling in their retirement years and have been life long Boise State Bronco supporters. Private family services are under the direction of Summers Funeral Home.
