Obituary of Dorothy Jensen

Dorothy Rebecca (Taylor) Jensen was born July 7, 1917 in Picabo, Idaho to Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" (White) Taylor and John Richard Taylor. She died November 14, 2011 at Plantation Place Assisted Living. She was raised in Emmett, Idaho and graduated from Emmett High School and attended Links Business School. She married Bert Andrew Jensen July 8, 1935 and moved to Boise where she lived the rest of her life. She and Bert endured the depression, death of their first child and Bert's enlistment in the Navy during WWII. They worked hard, made this country a better place and raised a family. After a 30 year career she retired from the Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles. She loved her family and friends. She was young for her age and was jet skiing until she was almost 90.
