Obituary of Walter Drewry

Walter Leo Drewry was born on February 15, 1924 in Marshall, Ark. He passed away on June 16, 2011 in Emmett, Idaho. Walt was always a hard worker. He joined the CCC's at a young and age and later joined the Navy during WWII. It was during his service that he met his future wife, Elva. After his time in the Navy ended, Walt and Elva moved to Eagle, Idaho. Walt continued his hard work by becoming one of the founding partners of Tri City Meats. He worked there for over 35 years. After retiring, Walt loved to fish and work in his garden when he could. Walt is proceeded in death by his wife, his parents and all of his siblings. He survived and greatly missed by his children, William Drewry and Sandy Little; his grandchildren, Jennifer Harrier, Laura Drewry, Brad Little and John Drewry; and his great-grandchildren Serena and Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 1pm at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery on Thursday, July 21, 2011. We miss you grandpa.
