Obituary of Harvey Geis

Harvey Dennis Geis Harvey Dennis Geis passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Harvey was born in Detroit, MI on April 7, 1944 and moved with his parents to Florida where he graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1962. He moved to Idaho in 1970. He was a long time home builder in the Treasure Valley. He was involved in river boating & jet boat racing and was a founding member of the WWA and was well respected in the jet boat community. He was also a life long snowmobiler and enjoyed many years in McCall at his cabin snowmobiling with friends and family. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and took many road trips with friends. He is survived by his children, Lynn (John) VanZandt, Dennis (Kim) Geis, Adam (Kim) Geis; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Suzanne (Dennis) Antinori. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel at 5 p.m.
