Carolyn, Peter was special, but then you knew that. Glad we got to know that too.

Carolyn, We are so connected going back to 1960's. His dad took our wedding pictures in 1966 but it was my father commenting on what a smart, hard working guy he was.Peter understood the wood/lumber business. All my daughters and their families thank you as well as I for Peter's leadership in creating the Payette Lake's Water Quality Board. And the continuing effort to make people aware of the need to maintain safe boating practices so that we all can swim, water ski and play safely in the precious McCall lake. I pray that you will find peaceful moments and soon will remember the happier times with Peter... Much love Lois Lenzi

Peter Johnson was a prominent well known and respected businessman in our community. I moved into his neighborhood at ten years of age. From age ten to age fifty seven he always treated me like we were best friends. Over the years I would call him out of the blue with a question about anything and he always had time for me. As busy as he was I will always admire that great attribute. Peter and Carolyn Johnson raised a wonderful family that will always be dear to my heart.

Dear Carolyn and Family,
I, like all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Peter, am genuinely saddened and moved to learn of his death. Over the years, the more time I experienced
with Peter the more I grew to admire him--what he already accomplished--what he was currently committed to---his real passion for life, family and community--and maybe above all, his willingness to share and council both on a professional and personal level. To me he is in a class along with Bob Hansberger and Bill Janss as a "hero" and "mentor"--and I have damned few of them!
Carolyn, I know this has been a difficult couple of years for you and "the girls" and all of the family. And Barrie and I extend our deepest sympathy and our best wishes.
Fondly, Pete O'Neill

Dear Carolyn, When I read of Peter's passing I could only feel your great loss. I was yours and Peter's Dental Hygienist at Brian Charles' office in McCall. I only knew Peter as a patient, however, every time he left his appointment I was left with a fond memory of a very passionate and eloquent man. I always enjoyed and looked forward to our "visit". God Bless you and your family

Dear Carolyn and Family:
I was so deeply sorry to learn of Peter's death. I want you to know that he had a profound influence on my career and life. The years we spent together when he was Chairman, and I was President and CEO, of Ida-West were without question the best years of my 35-year professional career. His wisdom, guidance, teachings and support were invaluable to me and my entire team. I often reflect on his timeless lessons and try to emulate them in my daily efforts. His superior character and integrity will always be an inspiration to me. His good cheer and positive attitude helped us get through the difficult times in business, and his strong intellect, impressive business acumen and creativity - coupled with his incredible interpersonal skills (the best of any person I've ever known) - helped us to foster excellent business relationships with our various stakeholders and pursue exciting opportunities with an abiding will to win and excel. On a personal level, Peter and I often discussed our wonderful daughters (I have three). We found a common bond when it came to our girls. Since mine are a bit younger, Peter gave me invaluable advice on various important father-daughter relationship builders. During those many talks, his complete adoration of and devotion to his family was highly evident. I am blessed to call Peter a mentor, colleague and friend and will forever be grateful that our lives touched. May he rest in peace. And may God bless you.
