Obituary of Ronald Worden

Ronald Lee Worden, 76, of Boise, Idaho, beloved husband and best friend of Margaret Worden for 57 years, passed away peacefully on December 27,2013. He is survived by his wife Margaret, his children Janet and Jay of Meridian Idaho and Scott & Lisa Worden of Gilbert Arizona. His grandchildren, Mike and Kelly Metz, Heather & Aaron Trickett, William and Jamie Worden, and Amanda Worden. Great grandchildren, Richard, Kaleigh, Orrin, Elodie, and Charlee, and two aunts and many cousins. Ronald lived his early years in Kansas, moved to Oregon in 1951 where he attended Bonanza High School. In 1985 the family moved to Boise Idaho where he continued working in the lumber business. In 1993, Ron and Margaret opened High Desert Hardwood; Eagle, ID where he pursued his passion in the specialty hardwood lumber business. A Celebration of Life will be held honoring Ron on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Eagle United Methodist Church at 11:00am, located at 651 N Eagle Rd, Eagle, Idaho with reception to follow, concluding with internment at Dry Creek Cemetery, 9600 Hill Rd, Boise, Idaho. A public viewing is scheduled, Thursday January 2,2014 from 5:00-8:00pm at Summer's Funeral Home, 3629 E. Ustick Road, Meridian, Idaho 83646
