Obituary of Joseph R. Sposito

Joseph Robert Sposito, 74, passed away May 21, 2018 at his home in Meridian, ID.

Joe was born October 18, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to Peter and Marion Sposito.

He joined the US Navy in January of 1963 and shortly after, he met the love of his life Joyce. They fell in love and married in October 1965 and proceeded to have 3 children. Joe was a diehard Yankees fan and absolutely loved sports. He was also a huge fan of any kind of military aircraft which he shared with his grandson Tyler. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and will be missed every day.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, his son Peter (Kim), his daughters Dina (Patrick), and Caroline (Michael). Also, his five grandchildren Nicole, Dylan, Ashley, Tyler and Kennedy.

An open house gathering will be held at Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel on Sunday June 3, 2018 from 1PM to 4PM.
