By the time I met Greg he and my husband (Joe Wells), were more like brothers and I was a new addition to their group. I was the second wife coming into the picture after there had been so much history already there before me. It easily could’ve been awkward or uneasy, but not with Greg and his wife. They were happy to see my husband happy and both welcomed me into their home and treated me with such kindness. The first time I met them my husband had brought me over to their house. I got to meet Belvedere and Genevieve and saw how much Greg loved his pups. As an animal lover myself I really appreciated that. I love to draw and color and the moment Greg found out he ran to grab his art supplies and showed me picture after picture of his artwork. He was so good! I was impressed and excited to know someone else that appreciates color and line work like I do. He was fun, funny, and spent time getting to know me that day. I’m sad I didn’t get the chance to know him better or spend much time with him after that. With him in Idaho, my husband in Virginia, and myself in California, we didn’t get to spend much time together. I heard so much about Greg though. The friendship him and my husband and shared was impressive and sweet. They meant a lot to each other. He will be greatly missed, always appreciated for exactly who he is, and the friend he’s been to my husband
